Sword Casting Guy coming to The Grovestead

We are excited about a special event for kids coming to our farm: Sword Casting! We had originally planned to host this event back in July during our Knights of the Round Table camp, but due to COVID the sword-making events were all canceled.

But now they are back on and we are looking forward to having Greg Wenderski come to host a sword-making workshop on our farm on Friday, September 18th (9am-2pm).

Greg is an awesome teacher (a former history and science teacher) and will walk you through the history of weapons making as you make your own swords from cast aluminum. Rory took Ivar to the event last year and it was an awesome day, definitely a lifelong memory (Ivar still wields his sword a year later).
