A Very Photogenic Winter

I have come to think that wintertime is a lot like childbirth. You sort of forget one before the next begins. It’s a survival tactic, I suppose. So I can’t say definitively if this winter has been colder/had more snow/had the longest ice pack, but I can say this winter has been very winter-y.

But for me, it hasn’t felt long yet. I am sure that will come at some point in March. Or when we run out of wood for the woodstove. That’s usually when it hits me, but for whatever reason, this year I still feel charmed by it all. I think it’s because it has been so, so gorgeous. Enjoy these pics from the season!
